many apologies for not updating in AGES!! was up till my nose with stuff happening. like exams, Cheryl, Syeera n Ian's birthday(happy birthday guys), SHOPPING and basically juz hanging out. so today i'm staying in. chilling with mum and dog. with my books n dvd's of which i have much catching up to do. heck i'm sooo lazy to layan any1 at this particular moment that even my MSN messenger ain't signed in. something pretty much unheard of in my lil universe.
ANYHOO i've decided to do reviews. lolz. inspired by imdb. ladies and gentlemen there's where you go to for the latest review on any movie around. well almost. they give you basically everything. from the main cast to the guy who appears for 15 seconds in the movie. and the best part are the comments from regular peeps like us hu tell it like it is.
so. yesterday i caught a movie with Lim.

and oh my goodness gracious me. The prestige is mindblowingly good. as in it keeps you guessing. even after we left the theatres i was still like wth? it's that good. a really freaking good movie. but i advice you not to catch it if you prefer movies like JOhn Tucker must die. as in no thinkin just barrels of laughs. coz this movie requires a senseless amount of brain cells. i soo can;t wait to watch it again. hahahha. so the prestige gets an A+!

okay fine. i cheated. i haven't actually read the book. but i mean c'mon. it's Mitch Albom. He's a freaking brilliant writer. writes stuff that make you feel all tingly and ponder on the all the lil things in life that we take for granted. let u in on a secret. there;s this movie. tuesday's with Morrie. based on his book. and i remember watching the movie and bawling my eyes out. it's not coz it has loads of touching moments which it does. but it;s the way the encounter between a dying mentor and his protege, and the way it takes place that just renders me speechless. and that happens once in a blue moon mind you.
so we're done with a movie and a book. mum;s a bit "potong"-ing. lunch time. lolz. but i'll be back with more reviews! promise!! hahaha. till next time. soon i hope. lolz. catcha later!!! adios!

something happened to me today. actually it;s been happening for the past few Sundays! but today. it struck. like lightning. i was just overwhelmed with joy. more of a joyful peace. and realization. listening to a song,a gospel to b exact, on the stereo might seem like a norm to most of us. but i just suddenly felt the need to lift my hands and worship Him. The Lord Almighty. it juz came. unannounced, no red carpet treatment. just simply came, in all it's wonder.
it's not been hapening to me for a really long time. i'll be the first to admit. my walk with God has gone from bad to worse. each time i say i'm gonna commit all over again. it never works out. i get distracted. in this new age day, we're so easily distracted by every litle thing that comes along. nothing ever really lasts anymore. not even your friends and family. or even life itself, actually. but the Lord never fails to reassure me that he's always there for me. 24/7, thru the rain or the haze! it's funny. He's faithful even when i cease to be.
know how sometimes when we're happy and everything just seem's to be going right, we kinda forget God?? it's like we push him aside like a lil' teddy bear. well. He;s more than a teddy bear. He's the ONE for pete's sake. but then when everything goes wrong and d rainy days outnumber the sunny ones, we run right back to him. we take comfort in knowing that he'll still b there eventhou we weren't there for him during the sunny days. amazing ain't it? i mean, if it were me, i'd b offended if a friend only came to look for me when he/she was in trouble! guess that's why we call him Almighty Saviour!
and dying on the cross for us?? yup. lil ol' me and you! even before you knew him. i mean wat else can i say?? are you willing to die for someone you don;t know?? even giving your last piece of chocolate can be painful sometimes. what more your precious life?! it just brought things into perspective for me. i'm going thru exams and plain teenage problems. but he;s there. no matter what i just know he's there. He carries me in my times of need and when i'm just so tired. He's my best friends in the whole world. my own personal confidante. I love him with all my body, mind and soul. and wanna know d best part?? he feels exactly the same way!! what's more satisfying than knowing the person you're in love with loves u back??heck it's more than i could ask for.
i'll let you in on a lil' secret. He loves you too. He died on the cross for you as well. He'll be your best friend if you'll let him. your own personal confidante too. He'll carry you thru your darkest times too. all this and more he'll do for you. if only you'll let him!! seriously. he's waiting for you. he's been waiting. and he'll keep on waiting. until you open that lil door on your heart and let him in. seriously!! miracles happen when he's there! in your heart i mean. lolz. trust me. i've experienced it. more than once. and i don;t think it's gonna stop there. He's blessings are just gonna keep flowing. i'll bet even when my cup of blessings is full, he's just gonna keep pouring them till my cup is overflowing! no doubt in my mind!!! lolz. oops! think i'll just go talk to him now. tell him i wrote him a post on my blog! i think he'll be pleased. i surely hope so! ciao peeps. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you in your exams and whatever problems you're going thru right now!

the wind is blowing. it's drizzling. slightly. typing on my laptop seems, for the first time, unnatural. coz all i really wanna do is sit on the patio and listen to the wind blow. letting the breeze run through my messed up hair.just lovely.
it's been a good day. less for the haze which in all honestly in no longer a novelty to me. had a dinner. oOO HAppy mooncake festival peeps! it was refreshing seeing d child-like innocence in all my younger cousins faces as their eyes lit up as soon as the candles in their lanterns were lit. the pure sheer joy untainted by the ways of the world. the bitchyness of it all. oh well. dun we wish we could maintain that? lolz. had funny mindless chatter with uncles and aunties. over a glass of *&%$! i'm still nt legal!
niwayz.. i think i'll take a raincheck on dat patio idea. or maybe i'll juz squeeze 5 mins. till then. adios!
