my previous posts make me look like sum emo sadistic bitch moaning about life's letdowns. sigh.. i AM COMPLETELY the OPPOSITE!! :). so the next few will HAVE to b happy ones. woo hoo. this one however is for sheer innocent updates.

celebrated my aunt's birthday yesterday. and i can officially say the Chew family are certified Camwhores. seriously. all the aunties and cousins were taking pictures every 60 seconds. nice ones thou, unlike the ones yours truly takes with pursed lips and cock eyed. wahahah.

oOo. good News! Pee and I have been given the license to bitch. seriously. putting two major bitchy people as Drama Directors was soooo not a good idea. it was skill-wise. but ummm... the actors might just b traumatised from the excessive bitching! ;) anyhoo. had auditions on thursday where close to 30 ppl turned up. which was phenomenal. i mean i noe it's a really small number but seriously. we weren't even expecting 10. c'mon it's DRAMA! wahahahha. and gosh sum of them seriously rocked. there was this girl hu had to audition as the Evil Queen and my goodness graciouss me she was Bitchy like hell man. scared the hell outta me. as in seriously. she could replace me n Pee in a jiffy as the bitchies ppl in skool man. wahahahha

BUT as they say all good things must come to an end. okay so here's the dish. Pee wrote this absolutely FABULOUS story bout 3 childhood friends falling in love that kinda thing. and the student body totally loved it. but sum stupid drama trainee teachers had to go spoil all our plans. i'm nt being bitter bout it but seriously. how would u like it if u were told halway thru the audition that they changed the script at the last minute and replaced it wif sum really really cliched story bout sum princess marrying sum dumb datuk when she's in love wif sum poor dude. GOODNESS. my 4 year old cousin could've written that story!!! oops sorry teacher. Barbie just called. she needs her story back for her next DVD release. Barbie and the Poor Hot DUde. dumbshit.

to make it all worse. nxt week's exams. and we gtg skool on Saturday. sooo not fair. how i wish. ANYHOOO... i've got gr8 news. seriously!!!

i talk too loud. i laugh too much. i eat wayyy more than the girl sitting next to me. i crave attention. i think i'm the most happening person around. eventhough i'm not. i fall for the weirdest guys. i laugh hysterically at the lamest jokes. i cried when i watched Lilo & Stitch. i dream of sitting by the fire in an oversized maroon sweater with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate in one hand while staring at the snow outside. i'm great at covering up feelings. i should b a spy. i'm quite a lil bitch. but not all the time. i flirt unconciously. or mayb i do it conciously. hmmm. it's debatable. apparently i give people the first impression of a air headed bimbo. and i take perverted delight in seeing their faces when i quote Shakespeare. i wanna slow dance under the stars by the beach. and i wanna receive roses from an anonymous person on Valentine's day and finding out only at the end of the day.

everybody has dreams. i know i do. and u most probably do too. they might b outrageous, realistic or just plain whacky. oh. i'm not talkin bout those nonsensical dreams u get in the middle of the night. but plans. those fairytale dreams worthy of any Disney Classic. these dreams bring with them an immense amount of hope. an overwhelming amount if i may. and it's queer that there's a high possibility u have the exact same dreams as the person sitting next to you. even if it's a chocolate buffet! however. like most good things, it comes with a price. with the hope it brings, it brings heartache, disappointments and grief. but no matter what anyone says, that immense hope which makes you feel like u could b anything you want to be for that precious 60 seconds makes up for that 60 minutes of grief.

every parent passes on their dreams to their kids. hoping that their kids will carry their dreams and soar to greater heights than they could ever dream of. as kids we all had dreams. of becoming that first astronaut, the doctor with a heart, a superhero or even that princess on that tower whose prince comes to save. innocent dreams. with no boundaries. no reasoning. and nobody to rain on our parade. there are days where i would give up everything i have to regain that innocence lost. to not know that the big bad world is ready to pounce on me and eat me up if only i showed a moment of pure weakness. remember when u trusted everyone you met? when u never questioned anyone who wanted to b your friend? when racism was just a big word the adults used? when your biggest worry was what sweets were ur mum gonna reward you with for being such a good girl? when you could just b yourself and deep down know that everyone was gonna accept you for who u are and not judge every inch of your body?

I remember.

today i embarked on a new beginning. it's doesn't strike me as a vague unfamiliar feeling. it's just it. so as usual i reached skool freakin early in d morn as usual. prefect meeting or sumthin like that. usual la dee dum. get into class. rush for seats. same ol' same ol'.
and as i was dreaming away in class, i realized that this was my last "first" day in high school. then i turned my heat a complete 180 and looked at everyone's faces. not merely glance like i did all those times last year. but really looked. every pimple, coloured brace on their teeth, every hair. or lack of it! ;)

i looked at the piece of plastic hanging which said 5 Cekap. 5. nt 4. but 5. seniors. less for the extremely potong-ing upper 6. but in everyone's eyes i still saw that child-like innocence. the product of being sheltered in a school. of nt being exposed to the big bad world in all it's infamous glory. of finding light at every end of the tunnel.

i realized that the f3's looked at us the way we looked at the previous f5's when we were in f3. how we gazed at them. and thought gosh, they're humoungous. okay. mayb juz sum of them. but now as a fifth former myself, i look around and i see the same faces i saw in f3.oh my they HAVE grown. but they're still the same ppl. no different from when they were 15. how ironic.

i seriously thought when i gt into f5 i would see every1 in a different light. a bigger light. but it's still the same ol' light. shining as brightly as it did 2 years ago. but this old light still serves its purpose. after all. why would i want to see them in a different light?
