something happened to me today. actually it;s been happening for the past few Sundays! but today. it struck. like lightning. i was just overwhelmed with joy. more of a joyful peace. and realization. listening to a song,a gospel to b exact, on the stereo might seem like a norm to most of us. but i just suddenly felt the need to lift my hands and worship Him. The Lord Almighty. it juz came. unannounced, no red carpet treatment. just simply came, in all it's wonder. it's not been hapening to me for a really long time. i'll be the first to admit. my walk with God has gone from bad to worse. each time i say i'm gonna commit all over again. it never works out. i get distracted. in this new age day, we're so easily distracted by every litle thing that comes along. nothing ever really lasts anymore. not even your friends and family. or even life itself, actually. but the Lord never fails to reassure me that he's always there for me. 24/7, thru the rain or the haze! it's funny. He's faithful even when i cease to be. know how sometimes when we're happy and everything just seem's to be going right, we kinda forget God?? it's like we push him aside like a lil' teddy bear. well. He;s more than a teddy bear. He's the ONE for pete's sake. but then when everything goes wrong and d rainy days outnumber the sunny ones, we run right back to him. we take comfort in knowing that he'll still b there eventhou we weren't there for him during the sunny days. amazing ain't it? i mean, if it were me, i'd b offended if a friend only came to look for me when he/she was in trouble! guess that's why we call him Almighty Saviour! and dying on the cross for us?? yup. lil ol' me and you! even before you knew him. i mean wat else can i say?? are you willing to die for someone you don;t know?? even giving your last piece of chocolate can be painful sometimes. what more your precious life?! it just brought things into perspective for me. i'm going thru exams and plain teenage problems. but he;s there. no matter what i just know he's there. He carries me in my times of need and when i'm just so tired. He's my best friends in the whole world. my own personal confidante. I love him with all my body, mind and soul. and wanna know d best part?? he feels exactly the same way!! what's more satisfying than knowing the person you're in love with loves u back??heck it's more than i could ask for. i'll let you in on a lil' secret. He loves you too. He died on the cross for you as well. He'll be your best friend if you'll let him. your own personal confidante too. He'll carry you thru your darkest times too. all this and more he'll do for you. if only you'll let him!! seriously. he's waiting for you. he's been waiting. and he'll keep on waiting. until you open that lil door on your heart and let him in. seriously!! miracles happen when he's there! in your heart i mean. lolz. trust me. i've experienced it. more than once. and i don;t think it's gonna stop there. He's blessings are just gonna keep flowing. i'll bet even when my cup of blessings is full, he's just gonna keep pouring them till my cup is overflowing! no doubt in my mind!!! lolz. oops! think i'll just go talk to him now. tell him i wrote him a post on my blog! i think he'll be pleased. i surely hope so! ciao peeps.
