i've been very lazy to blog for the past few days. obviously. but anyway on another note, i can't believe that 2008 is here!!!! seriously. ahhh. ha ha. so i actually went to church for countdown. okay i can feel the weird stares and hear the silent murmurs about how uncool i am. FYI countdown in church is fun la. especially if you have friends like mine. *winks* ha ha. the most "potong"-ing part of my new year was that i spent my first 3 minutes of 2008 in Howard's car! -__- nothing kinky. ;) heh. but the fella wanted to fill petrol coz apparently by 12 the price of fuel was gonna increase by 40 cents. then we had to find our way back coz P.J is a BIT confusing. but yea. i have a tag thingy again! just like last year's! oh and i tag everyone coz these kinda thingies are fun to read! :)

1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?
went for 17's Summer Splash thingy, sat on the KL monorail (heh) and slow danced on graduation night. i mean the other times with cousins and uncles don't count ah!

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
i hardly ever make resolutions la but if i do it's normally really nonsensical ones.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
i honestly don't think so. ai yaa... i want a new cousin la. PFFTTT.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
umm My first aunty from my grandfather's first marriage, my grand-uncle and some other people who were related by blood but i mean i wasn't close to them per say. i think i haven't even met them la. heh.

5. What countries did you visit?
i didn't go for any freaking holidays last year. ass-pee-am la.

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
wisdom, common sense, a certain degree of optimism, shopping money and kisses. :)

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
7th September - Graduation night! and i won Best Dressed! plus that slow dance and DumbFounded! :)

12th November - my sweet sixteenth birthday and the first day of SPM!

30th November - my sweet sixteen bash for family.

29th December - drummer boy aka Levi (pronounced LevAi not LehvEEE). 'nuff said.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
discovering myself on a more emotional level and being less of a *insert word for female dog*. oh and getting that coveted A for Physics. yea baby. ha ha.

9. What was your biggest failure?
i honestly don't know. heh.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
ummm... i think i didn't have any fevers last year. oh yeaaaaa... ha ha. take that fever bacteria thingy which i shall know the name of by the end of the year. heh. but yea. it was mostly sore throats which like so totally increased my sex appeal. BWA HA HA.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
my dress for graduation from Warehouse, a Coach bag, HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS! oh and my dresses from Zara and American Eagle. zomg. i bought tonnes of dresses this year.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Soo Xinghan aka Piano Boy who was one heck of a friend. :D

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Soo Xinghan, Britney Spears. ha ha. i don't think anyone in particular made me feel depressed la. heh.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Starbucks, TeenVogue, random magazines, books, Diva, FOOOOOOD! :D

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry potter and the Order of the phoenix movie, Patrick Dempsey, Justin Timberlake, SPM, the flowers ZL brought me, Xinghan's mixed tape, Gillian coming home, Lim's driving license :), my Burberry glasses which i never wear, my birthday parties, graduation! the MU vs Chelsea match which MU eventually lost (ish!) and definitely LEVI ASHER! :D

16. Which songs will always remind you of 2007?
Michael Buble - Everything, Rihanna - Umberella, Fergie - Big Girls Don't Cry

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: a) happier or sadder? b) thinner or fatter? c) richer or poorer?
Happier, fatter, richer :)

18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Studying, traveling, eating in those quaint bistros, brought a good book to Starbucks instead of them History work books, taken a risk with some people.

19. What do you wish you’d done less of?
Rationalizing. it's too tiring.

20. How did you spend Christmas?
Church! and then the traditional family dinner in Damansara.

21. Did you fall in love in 2007?
maybeeeee...... :P

22. What was your favorite TV program?
Grey’s anatomy! period.

23. do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
strongly dislike, a few in particular. but not until hate la.

24. What was the best book you read?
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. heh. i'm reading J.D Salinger's Catcher in the Rye which is quite funny. :D

25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Damien Leith, Chris Rice, THE PIERCES!!!!!

26. What did you want and get?
Lacoste tee and a boyfriend aka mr Drummer boy.

27. What did you want and not get?
Justin Timberlake. pfffttt.

28. What was your favorite film this year?
Enchanted. *i can't believe i called it enchantment! zomg*ha ha ha. seriously. Across the UNiverse for the fantabulous soundtrack!

29. What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?
i wrote a 8 page essay, answered questions about my beloved Tok Janggut and cut a pretty disgusting tasting cake. i was 16!!!

you can't see it but i'm actually thinking about how to dispose of the cake. :P

30. what made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
church friends, school friends, them talks about the future in starbucks with the people who turn my world upside down. :D

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
not enough quirky shirts that catch your attention. and way tooo many dresses.

32. What kept you sane?
biology and Add Math. seriously. geez i'm such a nerd la.

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
MCDREAMY!!! and Justin Timberlake!!! oh yeahh

34. What political issue stirred you the most?
the emergency in Myanmar which i thought wasn't very smartly handled by their government but i mean that's one girl's opinion.

35. Who did you miss?
Gillian! Drummer Boy! Lim! JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE!!!!

36. Who was the best new person you met?
Levi Asher! who i might add, is a bigger camwhore than i am! heh. :D

37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007.
You have to accept people for who they are, bad table manners and all, coz what they mean to you outweighs their annoying habits. oh and one bad thing doesn't erase 10 good things that happen to you. :)
